Who will buy my vote?

As the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary primaries for Southern Ghana draws closer, stories of intrigues and vote buying are emerging from various constituencies.

The Agona East Constituency is one of the keenly contested seats where the Minister for Food and Agriculture Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi is battling with some other contestants.

Initially there were five contestants in all but Mr. Arhin, a nephew of the minister was persuaded to withdraw from the race. It is reported that the Agric Minister’s quarters is offering each of the 250 delegates a whopping GHC1,000 cedis to vote for him.
It is alledged!

Shalom!
