Ghana's President assures support for Alan Kyeremanteng in WTO job

President John Mahama has assured Ghanaians and the continent that he will do all in his power to ensure that former Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng gets the nod for the WTO job.

However, Ghana's candidate has to battle it out with another contestant from Kenya, Amina Mohamed. This has created division in the top hierarchy of the AU as they are at a loss as to which candidate the continent should rally behind. This will eventually jeopardise the continent's chance of taking up the post.

Imagine all other continents are represented by one person and Africa is represented by two.
