WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Hi my lovely readers,

Being a member of the Word Miracle Church International is something I will always cherish because, the kind of food (word of God) that emanates from the pulpit makes me not want for food from any other source.
Yesterday at the Headquarters, it was so marvelous as we had the General Secretary of the organization, who also happens to be the Senior Head Pastor of the Zoe Assembly at Mataheko, Bishop Hansel Agyei-Frimpong ministering to us. His message was titled ‘What do you see?’ Lol, you had to be there to see things for yourself. The man preaches with passion, every fibre of his being is always involved in his preaching.

Taking his scripture reference from the book of Genesis 1:1-3, he assured us that God has given us the gift of sight or the ability to see, and that God doesn’t want us to see just with our optical eyes or physical eyes, but that God wants us to also see with the eyes of our spirit. i.e. “what we see directs our life”.  What we see is what we get, our thoughts are filled with what we see  and our life goes in the direction of our thoughts. He cautioned that nothing can give us a right thought except the word of God.  He said the most important part of our seeing is seeing with our spirit.

Genesis 1:1-3 shows what God did in the presence of confusion, void, darkness and chaos earth. God did not focus on the negative situations, but decided to get another picture so, He shifted His attention to the things He wanted to happen by looking inside Him and filled His thoughts and sight. What was in Him that filled His thoughts and sight came out through the words He spoke and began to see as He saw.

He assured us that it is the same way God wants us to operate, and that the more we focus on the negative, the more the negatives occupy our mind.

Touching on Colossians 3:16, he said we should let the word of God dwell in us richly in all wisdom;  teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

On Proverbs 4:20-22, he had this to say “my son, attend to my words;  incline thine ear unto my sayings.   Let them not depart from thine eyes;  keep them in the midst of thine heart.   For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."

- the word of God is life
- you need God's word to become what God wants you to be
- the word of God is the restorer and reviver of life.
- the word of God is also medicine ( Hebrew - marpe) to our body.
Lol, he had these other scriptures to buttress his message.

Hebrew 4:12 -
“For the word of god is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

- You must set your focus on what god's word says
John 5:26 -
“For as the father hath life in himself;  so hath he given to the son to have life in himself;”

- God's word gives direction in life
- Genesis 15:1-6 portrays another illustration of what God wants us to do in the midst of affliction.
- God shifted abraham's vision, focus and thoughts to the heavenly truths

2 Corinthians 4:18 -
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal;  but the things which are not seen are eternal”

- Genesis 17 God changed Abram's name to Abraham. Abram means an assumed father but Abraham means a father of many nations

- align your confession with your vision

- one principle of life: “if you can see and you say it, you will have it.”

- the word of God is the reality of life. The more of the word inside you, the more he builds himself in you.

- do not let what people say about you be your perception.

- nothing is too late in the sight of God. Romans 8:1-4
- take your attention from the world, from what people say, from what is happening around us and lift your up eyes and look on the word.

2 Corinthians 3:5
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves;  but our sufficiency is of God;

- God's ability is our ability. We are not empty. We HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER THE WORLD.

- SAY THESE CONFESSIONS
I AM A SUCCESS,
I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR, MY LIFE IS SHINING,
THE GLORY OF GOD IS UPON ME SO I CANNOT FAIL.
THE SPIRIT OF ANOINTING IS WORKING FOR ME,
GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD,
MY LIFE IS MOVING UPWARD AND HIGHER.
Lol, I guess you are also full.

Shalom
