Hello my wonderful family, I have been down with malaria for a couple of days now. In fact I even had to for-go lectures because I could no longer sit or concentrate. The thought of my daughter's birthday on Sunday again confused me the more as I had planned to celebrate it for her, which she did with friends in Sunday School. But in all, I thank God who through His infinite love for me made me whole. Shalom!

Music, they say is food for the soul. I never knew what music could do till last Saturday when two former Presidents took on their dancing shoes. The gentle giant JAK doing his own thing It was so touching to see Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour and Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings hold each other and dance to the astonishment of all present. Unable to stand the joy, Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings joined them on stage as Ghana's living legend of hi-life, Kwadwo Fosu, a.k.a Daddy Lumba did what he is best at doing. The crowd couldn't help but join The living legend, Daddy Lumba The surprising thing is that, Ghanaians see this former Presidents as worst of enemies. However, music has proved them all wrong. Recently I read in one of the media that Nollywood movie icon, Chinedu Ikedieze is set to take the love of his life, Nneoma down the aisle come December 10, 2011. A lot of people, in fact, itching ears and mouth are wondering the height of the lucky lady. I keep asking my self, what is their problem? do we climb a ladder to do the 'thing'. I remember during my basic school days, when we went for morning parade we were taken through some morning parade routine which saw us doing a lot of activities. One such activity was 'standing attention'. This meant that every one had to stand with his or her legs closed together. I remember on one occasion, a teacher after giving the instruction for all to stand 'attention', realized one girl had her legs apart. He shouted again "attention" but the girl maintained her position, then commanded "Josephine, stand well". The girl answered "I've stood well". Then the teacher said "how about your legs"?. The girl answered "that's how they are".  The girl left the school a few weeks later out of embarrassment.  Do you think the teacher erred? Shalom!

My precious Chioma has been missing from Nollywood for sometime now.  In fact, I love watching movies that feature her, especially when its got to do with falling in love with a guy her parents dislike. She is so charming. Although a lot was alleged as the reason behind her abrupt absence from movies, she still soared higher with multiple endorsements that sought her.  Aside being one of the highest Globacom ambassadors, several others kept trickling in even though her movie career was at a stagnant stage.
