My Prayer for Nigeria

I have followed with keen interest the progress of Nigeria's Presidential election results on social media and must admit that the good book has never and will never lie - that only the government of God shall stand the test of time.
Kingdoms, empires and governments have come and gone - the Mongol Empire, Qing Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Sasanian Empire, Roman Empire, Pala Empire, Tibetan Empire all of Asia and Europe; Maj. Gen. Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Gen. Murtala Mohammed, Maj. Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, Shehu Shagari, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Ernest Shonekan, Gen. Sani Abacha, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar'Adua of Nigeria just to mention but a few.

Because we draw our inspiration from the good book and hold its tenets to be unadulterated, it is imperative to call forth the hand of God over Africa and for that matter Nigeria. Ghana and Nigeria are an inseparable sister nations whose traditions and culture are interwoven. Therefore, whatever happens in the later has a direct implication on the former.

During this time in our sister nation, its only the peace of God which surpasses all understanding that can rule in the minds of people and all strongholds. The prince of Persia is wide awake to do the unimaginable but, the hand of God is sending forth 'Michael' to do what he is best at doing "intercession". I am so passionate about the prevalence of absolute peace in Nigeria because I experienced a direct impact of the outbreak of ebola in parts of Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa last year, and will therefore not relent on my ores in seeking the hand of God over my beloved brothers and sisters from another mother.

Whoever wins the election, Nigeria will always stand tall.

Shalom, peace and life to you!
